    American Meat Equipment Corp. was incorporated in 1978 and has been dedicated to earning new business and maintaining existing relationships for the long term. Prior to June 1997 American Meat Equipment Corporation mainly made sausage processing machinery and parts.

In June of 1997 American Meat Equipment Corp. purchased the drawings, tooling and documentation for BUTCHER BOY equipment made since 1929 by Lasar Manufacturing/Westglen Corporation. We have been very busy mastering the BUTCHER BOY product line. Fortunately, we were able to hire former employees of the Lasar Manufacturing/Westglen Corp. with several hundred years of accumulated BUTCHER BOY experience.

With their experience we are confident that our BUTCHER BOY parts and machinery will stand the test of time just as BUTCHER BOY has for so many years. We invite your inquires for new machinery and we have the facilities and expertise to rebuild all BUTCHER BOY machinery to factory specifications and welcome the opportunity to quote your rebuilding needs.
